PT-580T er en HDBaseT Lite sender med støtte for 4K. HDMI Inngangen konverteres til HDBaseT signaler som sendes over twisted pair. En HDBaseT mottaker tar imot signalene og konverterer de tilbake til HDMI. HDBaseT mottaker kan også være innebygget i skjerm eller projektor.
